Regular readers of this blog will, I hope, notice that we have introduced a new look. My colleague Michiel Haijtink who runs the Wereldkids site for Dutch-speaking kids abroad developed the new design, and it will be phased in for other RNW blogs in the coming weeks.

Looks good. But I wish the lines of every post were a bit shorter. Because the long lines aren’t as easy to read.

It looks good!
I had become used to the previous layout, but think I like this one better, it’s cleaner, simpler
Keep up the good work Andy!

Andy, do you think it’s possible/helpful to change the order of comments? - Many popular blogs (like those run by BBC, etc.) put the last comment first. I think it’s pretty much standard these days when it some to professional operations.

I have passed your suggestion to my colleagues who have access to the template. I think WordPress is highly customisable, but a lot of it is php code which I don’t understand. This blog gets far more comments than most of the other RNW blogs, which of course is very pleasing for me

There’s always a different view…
I prefer comments to be in chronological order (rather than reverse chronological order, favoured by SRG). Reading the other blogs gives me a headache flipping back and forth trying to piece together the flow of comment and counter-comment.
