Yesterday’s People in America programme from the Voice of America’s Special English service was about the legendary Willis Conover, whose VOA jazz programme was one of the most popular and influential shows in broadcasting history. Good to hear Mr C’s voice again. I wonder if VOA has archived all of those programmes.They would make a great series for serious music broadcasters such as BBC Radio 3 in the UK and Concertzender or Radio 6 in the Netherlands.
