SW Radio Africa adds another extra frequency tomorrow

SW Radio Africa, the independent station broadcasting to Zimbabwe, will add another frequency to its evening transmission from tomorrow, in an effort to beat the jamming by the Zimbabwe government. 15145 kHz will be added at 1600-1800 UTC, and 3300 kHz will operated on a regular basis for the whole three hours at 1600-1900 UTC. The complete schedule will then be:

0300-0500 UTC on 1197 and 3230 kHz
1600-1700 UTC on 15145, 11845, 6145 and 3300 kHz + intermittent on 3230 and 4880 kHz
1700-1800 UTC on 15145, 11705, 6145 and 3300 kHz + intermittent on 3230 and 4880 kHz
1800-1900 UTC on 11995, 6145 and 3300 kHz + intermittent on 3230 and 4880 kHz

The station’s website now also includes links to other websites with instructions on building an anti-jamming antenna.
