I know that Voice Of Russia has been losing many listeners since RT went to air. In the last few months some American consultants have been advising VOR on what to do to increase listeners. I don’t know how many of you have heard the new newscasts on VOR with the background music and sound effect sweeps between stories. VOR has never been great for news, but this new format makes the old Radio Moscow and VOR sound like a creditable news service.
