We know our RDPi belongs to the DRM consortium as well, but at least apparently none of their 300 kW txs (one AEG, the oldest unit, and three THALES) was fitted what is needed to send digital signals. Frankly, I hope no tax payers’ funds are wasted on such an upgrade.

Pro-Funk, the company managing the DW relay at Sines, is only too keen in putting less kW on the air for this eases the electricity bill - so given the actual, the real situation vis-à-vis reception of DRM signals, what does the RDPi (or any other broadcaster for that matter) benefit from sending in digital mode?
