Radio Six International to broadcast live charity Ceilidh this evening

A reminder that today is St Andrews Day, the national day of Scotland. Radio Six International, the not-for-profit independent station broadcasting from Glasgow, is hosting a live charity Ceilidh from the tiny Island of Lismore, tucked away between Oban and Mull in the Inner Hebrides. Most of the population of 120 will be in the Community Hall to take part in the proceedings from 2100 UTC this evening. The event will be broadcast live on the Internet, and the first hour will also be on shortwave 5775 kHz.

Full details on the Radio Six International website.

And a Happy St Andrews Day to all Scots, wherever in the world you are. I’m a half Scot - my mother was a MacDougall!
