Radio Caroline finally appears on Sky EPG

From today, UK satellite broadcaster Radio Caroline is accessible in the UK and Ireland via Sky’s Electronic Programme Guide (EPG). It has been broadcasting on the Eurobird satellite at 28.5 degrees east for a considerable time, but had to be manually added, and many Sky subscribers were unaware of its existence. Radio Caroline hopes that being on Sky’s EPG will bring it more listeners, some of whom may remember the station from its offshore days, but many of whom will be listening for the first time. By a stroke of good fortune, the allocated EPG number is 0199 - when it originally started in 1964, the offshore Radio Caroline announced its wavelength as “199″ metres to rhyme with Caroline.
