Press TV signals jammed in Europe, says the station

Iran’s Press TV says on its website: “Jamming signals have been reportedly interrupting the broadcast of Press TV, Iran’s 24-hour English-language news channel, in various locations across Europe.

“Press TV viewers in Europe say the frequent attacks last three to four minutes each time. Some reports indicate that the news channel’s online stream is also targeted at the same time as jamming signals disrupt the broadcast of the channel.

“Italian viewers said Saturday was the fifth consecutive day of “Press TV signal black-out in Italy.”

“Today (Saturday) was the worst day of all - almost all day no signal - neither on Satellite TV, nor online streaming,” one Italian viewer said.”

Going to call BS on this one. Right now it is coming completely well both on Astra and Hotbird. Maybe these “viewers” should have their equipment checked. Didn’t some type of wireless phones interfere with satellite reception either?

What they are talking about? I’m in Italy and I’m watching Press TV on Hotbird right now, through a Sky Italy satellite decoder. I watch occasionally Press TV but I haven’t any problem with the reception. Also the live stream is working perfectly…

Press TV’s website was under apparent DDoS attack about 10 days ago.
