I guess the frequencies and other details given on Lyngsat are not for the ones living in Middle East … at least not for the ones in UAE. I’ve tried myself but no use. OR probably most of us are going wrong somewhere else … I mean some other settings need to be adjusted, like LNB settings??? There there’s LO, HI, DiSEqC, Tone burst, etc. There are so many things where we could go wrong and then not get the channels.

One strange problem that I am facing is that I noticed the channels that I am getting by selecting NileSat are actually of Badr … any ideas/guesses/suggestions as to why is this happening? I am living in a bldg where the owner says SMATV is installed (whatever that means!).

Whatever the frequency you are putting, subtract 600 from that and you will have aaj tv.
for example 4161 -600 = 3561

Try changing the LNB settings
such as choose LNB type “Normal” instead of “C-Band”
but then you have to set the Polarization as Vertical and keep the original frequencies.
for example:
Aaj TV
Frequency: 4161 V
Symbol Rate: 3037
If you are choosing the LNB type as “C-Band” then you have to set the Polarization as Horizontal and subtract 600 from each frequecy.
for example:
Aaj TV
Frequency : 3561 H (here we subtracted 600 from 4161)
Symbol Rate : 3037

I am not sure why these frequencies are not working with horizontal polarization.
This is what I am able to do workaround while playing with the satellite receiver frequencies.
When you search the channels by keeping the LNB settings as C-Band and Polarization as Horizontal , you are able to search few channels like PTV, ATV, Sahara, Star Utsav etc but frequencies like Hum Tv, Aaj Tv, Masala Tv, Geo News does work with C-Band with Horizontal Polarization.
To make it work you need to change the your LNB settings and choose the LNB Type as Normal and Polarization as Vertical ( do also check your DiSeq switch setting for Signal and Quality). Then you need to subtract 600 from every original frequency.
Do the same for every channel frequencies mentioned on the following link

P.S. My apologies, I mentioned the settings incorrect in my earlier post in reply of sana\’s post. Polarization should be inversed while choosing C-Band or Normal Band.
for example:
Aaj TV

LNB Type: C-Band
Aaj TV
Frequency : 3561 V (here we subtracted 600 from 4161 / try subtracting accordingly from 4159 or 4160)

Moreover, I was also able to tune KTN News/KTN (Sindhi), Shamshad (Pashto) and Kashish channels.

Phela network has replaced their receiver in order to stop illegal reception of the cricket world cup and providing channels only on their new receivers by viaccess. my problem is I can\’t search Asiasat on that receiver.
I have the following options in satellite settings
LNB type: universal or single (dont know what to choose)
LNB Frequency: dont know what to choose
Kindly assist if anybody faced this issue.

I have bought 6 feet Dish Antenna, Star Track 55X-Plus and two LNBFs EuroStar C and Star Track KU Band. My objective is to view Pakistani News Channel only available at PAS-7/10.
I have some basic knowledge of Horizontal and Verticle Angles so i have pointed Dish towards PAS but not receving any signal. I tried my best but fail. All connections are well connected and are working Properly.

I cannot search any AsiaSat channels while keeping the LNB frequency 05170mHz its working only with 05750mHz. If i change the frequncy to 05150mHz the other AsiaSat channels stops working.

In my TV is working on following
Pak Sat 38E ( Mainly in there more than 100 Channel)
Astra 2A/2B 28
Astra ID 23.5 E
Badar 26 A
Hotbird 13E
But 100 no single urdu/Punjabi and Hindi channel is appear. Kindly help me for adding of Urdu/Punjabi/Hindi Channel as I am Pakistani due to current situation we are required to watch the daily news. I hope some one is help me. Thanks.

I dont get the signal in star sat when i add the LNB freequency 5750 .when i change the number 5150 i geting only signal strength. i hope some can help me to get the signal .same time while i change the receaver i got the signal of insat 2e 3b.

My dish reciver is starsat LNB frequncy 5150 .I did’t get ajj… all other channel like sahara, zee , geo, ptv,ary are reciving. I try all this below bt fail..

Frequency: 4161 H (sometimes 4159 and 4160 works)
Symbol Rate: 3037
LNB Type: C-Band
Aaj TV
Frequency : 3561 V (here we subtracted 600 from 4161 / try subtracting accordingly from 4159 or 4160)
Symbol Rate : 3037
LNB Type: Normal
Also im not reciving hum, masala,style360

Please help me setting the geo tv free channel. I have tried by the given frequencies above and even after subtracting 600 but of no use. I live in UAE.

I am staying in Sharjah and I have Dreambox receiver. I am able to receive some pakistani channels (HUM, AAJ, TV1 etc) on Asia Sat 3s by converting the C band frequency to KU band frequency and keeping the FEC and Symbol rate same.
Despite of this, I am still not getting GEO, ARY and PTV. So can anyone help?
