Ehard Goddijn has drawn to my attention to this video in the AFRTS Archive featuring airchecks of the closedown announcement of AFRTS Iran and its replacement, the English-language station NIRT International Radio, operated by the Iranian Government in 1976. The latter features, amongst others, the legendary Wolfman Jack. The station operated on mediumwave 1555 kHz.
