The official launch of Holland FM, a new regional commercial station serving Friesland, will take place at 1400 UTC today. The station has already been testing for a while on three FM frequencies: 97.9 (serving most of Friesland), 97.7 (Terschelling) and 104.7 (Leeuwarden).
Holland FM has taken over the licence of the failed Nationaal FM. The station will play Dutch-language music featuring both national and regional artists. Programming will be a mix of non-stop music and presented prograrmmes, strongly featuring the Holland FM Top 25.
