New DRM Project Director appointed

Vineeta DwivediThe BBC’s India Business Development Manager, Vineeta Dwivedi, has been appointed Project Director at the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) consortium, radioandmusic.com reports. Ms Dwivedi will take up the position on 1 November for one year, after which she will continue her association with the BBC.

In her new role, Ms Dwivedi will lead the day-to-day management of the DRM consortium, as well as implement the DRM marketing and business strategy.

She joined BBC World Service in 2001 and worked in a range of editorial and production roles before joining the business development team in 2005. Before joining the BBC she worked for the Press Trust of India.
