The BBC’s India Business Development Manager, Vineeta Dwivedi, has been appointed Project Director at the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) consortium, radioandmusic.com reports. Ms Dwivedi will take up the position on 1 November for one year, after which she will continue her association with the BBC.
In her new role, Ms Dwivedi will lead the day-to-day management of the DRM consortium, as well as implement the DRM marketing and business strategy.
She joined BBC World Service in 2001 and worked in a range of editorial and production roles before joining the business development team in 2005. Before joining the BBC she worked for the Press Trust of India.
