Mortar attack on Misrata kills Radio Free Libya journalist

On 28 May Muhammad Ali al-Ma’dani, a journalist of Misrata Voice of Free Libya Radio, has been killed in Al-Dafniyah area, west of Misrata City. The Freedom Fighters newspaper Brnieq reported the news on its website. He and two of his colleagues were hit by a mortar while carrying out their professional duties.

Martyr Al-Ma’dani had been working as news editor and a reporter for the Voice of Free Libya and Libya al-Ahrar TV. Gaddafi foces continue their round-the-clock shelling of Misrata from their position in Nu’aymah, 10 km from Zlitan.
