Kevin Wilson has been appointed as Interim Head of Communications for the BBC World Service Trust. As the BBC’s international charity, the Trust works with people in developing and transitional countries to improve the quality of their lives through the innovative use of the media.
Kevin joins the Trust from the South Bank Centre, Europe’s biggest arts centre, where he was Director of Marketing and Communications. His career in communications also includes posts with the Arts Council, English National Ballet, Sunderland University and Bristol 2000.
Announcing the appointment, Stephen King, Director of the BBC World Service Trust, said: “We are delighted to have someone of Kevin’s experience leading communications at this key stage in the Trust’s development. The Trust is making a tangible difference to the quality of people’s lives all over the world and communicating effectively to stakeholders will play a key role in the Trust’s continuing growth and development.”

I think Kevin should be appointed as Interim Head of Communications for the BBC World Service Trust because he has the same name as mine.
