UK commercial broadcaster ITV says that an “administrative issue” is the reason for the one-week delay in the launch of its new male-oriented channel ITV4 on the BSkyB satellite platform. ITV4 will launch as planned on 1 November via terrestrial platforms Freeview and ntl. But millions of potential viewers will miss its opening night coverage of Chelsea’s Champions League match at Real Betis. The Champions League is moving to ITV4 from ITV2.
