Internet radio station for US soldiers and families launched

HOOAH!!! Radio, a free Internet-based radio station that salutes US soldiers and supports their families, officially launched on Monday. Staffed by live volunteer DJs that are comprised of US military veterans, HOOAH!!! provides of music and entertainment that is designed to appeal to listeners of all ages. HOOAH!!! offers an opportunity for friends and loved ones to dedicate songs to the troops through the online e-request and dedication page, providing them a real-time connection to deployed military.

Located at www.hooahradio.com, HOOAH!!! was created by Rick Bradley, a veteran of the US Army, and his wife Pam. Having served in Operation “Just Cause” in Panama and the first “Desert Storm”, Rick just saw his own son deployed to Iraq the day after Thanksgiving.

“It was always nice to receive postal mail and care packages when I was in the Army, but the reality of just how far away I was kept standing out,” said Rick. “This channel gives us a chance to feel just a bit closer and more connected. I can’t even begin to express how many soldiers, families and veterans have already said what a difference this radio station has made for them.”
