International religious broadcasters HCJB Global and Trans World Radio (TWR) are jointly organising a symposium in March to discuss funding issues, in particular practical solutions to the issues surrounding financial “dependency” in developing countries. The symposium will take place on TWR’s campus in Cary, NC on March 9/10, 2011.
TWR International Global Development Liaison Barbara Shantz stated: “We’re providing a place for people to come and propose wise use of individual and corporate resources, hopefully learning how to depend more on God in faith, and less on donors as ‘saviours.’”
