Stakeholders in the Broadcasting Industry in Ghana are meeting at Akosombo to deliberate on the last in the series of consultations for a draft proposal for a Public Service Broadcasting Law, to regulate activities in the industry. A Media Consultant, Berifi Apenteng, said GBC is well placed to be transformed into a true Public Service Broadcaster. However, issues relating to its philosophical underpinnings, management outlook, organisational structure, programming, human resource development and commercial activities should be reformed.
