I am pleased to report that we have now restored the full search facility on this blog. Search on, for example ‘bbc’ and at the bottom of the page click on ‘previous results’ to go to page 2 of the results, and so on. In other words, search results are displayed in reverse chronological order. To return to the current Home Page, click on the words ‘Media Network’ in the bar above the search box.

RSS DISRUPTION
Search was not the only function subject to disruption in January. My RSS feed from your blog delivered nothing from about January 1. For a few days around New Year, it was also (apparently) the source of an annoying ActiveX Control alert that had to be dismissed several times before it would give up.
Happily, I now notice there are new entries in my RSS feed and no annoying alerts.

Thanks for the feedback. The RSS feed was down for several weeks, but I had not seen any reports of Active X errors. I was told that some corrupt files had been found on the server and deleted, so maybe one of those was causing the error. I don’t think the files belonged to this blog, but all the RNW blogs are hosted on the same server, so when one’s down they’re all down
Anyway, once again my apologies for the problems, which hopefully will not reoccur.
