Former CRTV General Manager held accountable for mismanagement

The Budget and Finance Disciplinary Board of the Supreme State Control has established a debt of 2,616,725,345 CFA francs owed to the Public Treasury by the former General Manager of the Cameroon Radio Television Corporation (CRTV), Professor Gervais Mendo Ze, as prejudice caused to the corporation. The Budget and Finance Disciplinary Board of the Supreme State Control has amongst other decisions levied on him a special fine of 2 million CFA francs.

The board met on Thursday 6 February under the chairmanship of its President Siegfried David Etame Massoma, Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Control.

    As per xe.com, 2,616,725,345 CFA is about € 4 million at today’s exchange rates.

    I am not saying that he is guilty…he is proven innocent until otherwise!
