The UK’s first Islamic educational radio station is set to launch later this month, according to an exclusive report by BizAsia.co.uk. The station, which will be known as ILM Radio will broadcast 24 hours of Islamic educational shows from its Bradford studios.
ILM Radio will be available on Sky Digital and online at www.ilmradio.co.uk from Monday 22 June. The broadcaster also hinted at launching a Muslim lifestyle TV channel at the end of July (tentatively Monday 27 July), which will be called Ummah Channel.
