E-mail to ABU disrupted due to hacker attack

The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) advises that its email server was taken offline on Saturday 19 May 2007 after being hacked into by a US-based online gambling company. The server is being reinstalled with new security software and is expected to be operational again by Wednesday 23 May.

In the meantime, the ABU requests that any urgent mails are directed to the following temporary address: ABUSecretariat@gmail.com. A member of the ABU staff will then pass your mail to the staff member concerned. Please note in the header the name of the staff member to whom your mail is being directed. The ABU apologises for the inconvenience caused.
