Research bureau Intomart GfK has released the Dutch radio listening figures for Dec 2009/Dec 2010. Not surprisingly, there are no major changes from the Nov/Dec figures, as the crucial Christmas period is still included. Most stations remain stable or have moved up or down in market share by only 0.1 percent. Notable exceptions are Classic FM which has gained 0.3 percent, and Kink FM, which has doubled its share from 0.2 to 0.4 percent.
The biggest changes are for the regional stations. The public broadcasters cumulatively gained 0.5 percent compared to Nov/Dec, but the regional commercial stations saw their share drop from 5.0 to 4.1 percent. Part of the reason for this is that Radio Decibel is now listed separately, though its share of 0.4 percent means the regional commercial stations have still cumulatively lost 0.5 percent. However, this is still a considerable improvement on Dec 2008 when their combined share was only 3.5 percent.
The market shares in percentage for Dec/Jan (Nov/Dec figures in brackets) were as follows:
- Radio 2* 12.9 (12.8)
