DRM tests to Europe by The Disco Palace on 6015 kHz

There will be two test transmissions for The Disco Palace to Europe, at 1000-1400 UTC today and 0700-1100 UTC on Fri 19 March:

  • Frequency: 6015 kHz
  • Site: Wavre (Belgium)
  • DRM power: 40 kW
  • Rhombic antenna 167 degrees

    What on earth do they want to test?

    Testing of DRM has now been done so long that we must know all the facts about DRM in practice by now.
    It can only be to convince some mad investor to put his money on the table.

    Ruud, I think the purpose of these tests is to establish which of several transmitter sites provides the best propagation, not to test DRM per se.

    Well, doing the tests in analogue would give them more data input, since more people will and might try and listen to it.
