As previously reported, Deutsche Welle has today launched its new-look website. The broadcaster also has a new corporate logo, as shown on the right.

I wonder what was wrong with the old logo. It didn’t look dated to me at all.

They had more than one logo for different parts of the operation. The new one will be the only one used from now on. This is explained in the linked press release.

That’s what they write in the press release, but the DW part and the font were already identical for DW-world.de, DW-Radio, DW-TV, and DW-Akademie. Just look it up in Google Images.
