Countdown to first CNBC Africa broadcast

CNBC Africa logoAfrica’s first international business and financial news channel TV, CNBC Africa, will begin broadcasting from Sandton, Johannesburg, on 1 June 2007 at 7pm on DStv’s Channel 54. The event will be duly graced by South African President Thabo Mbeki. CNBC Africa’s CEO Trevor Ormerod and Head of News and Programming Gary Alfonso spoke exclusively to Bizcommunity.com about the channel’s readiness, challenges and future prospects.

    its indeed a commendable venture, that would aid in dissemination of business infor about africa, from a pure african eye.
    It would illuminate the world about dynamics business enviroment in africa thus arriving accurate picture of africa.
