The European edition of business news channel CNBC is now available to all Sky subscribers in the UK and Ireland as part of the basic package. Previously, an additional subscription was required. A spokesman for the channel said the move is part of its strategy to “aggressively” drive through growth across Europe.

I wonder if this means they’ll begin skewing the content to cater to a slightly more general audience, rather than to investment bankers. One has read that Bloomberg and the Wall St Journal have begun make such moves recently.
