According to the Website of South African transmission provider Sentech, the recently-inaugurated broadcasts of the Education Development Center for Somali refugees in Ethiopia via a 250 kW shortwave transmitter at Meyerton on 21565 kHz are on the air only three days a week - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday - at 1202-1232 UTC. Information sent out by the station, which identifies in Somali as Mustaqbal, says additional transmissions are scheduled on 17565 from 0630-0700 UTC via the Al Dhabayya transmitter site in the United Arab Emirates.
