Arrow 90.7 on the air “in next 10 days”

Dutch media site RadioFreak.nl quotes Arrow boss Ad Ossendrijver as saying that his new FM station Arrow 90.7, which gained the last major Dutch terrestrial FM licence in the second round of licence awards last year, will be on the air within the next 10 days. After a short period of test transmissions, the station will launch in a couple of weeks. However, Ossendrijver says a final decision on which transmitter operator to use - Nozema or Broadcast Partners - hasn’t yet been made. The station will broadcast a jazz and classical music format. Meanwhile, the company has rebranded its rock station as Arrow Rock AM 675 (formerly Arrow Classic Rock). That station has just posted its best ever listening figures, not including the substantial listenership it enjoys in neighbouring countries.
