We are experiencing some performance issues that sometimes generate ‘proxy error’ messages when trying to access this blog. Esperienced it a few times yesterday. Refreshing the page didn’t help at first. Then I tried using different browsers. After a few minutes of waiting I could finally connect.

Yes, we had the same problem at the turn of the year. It seems to be also affecting our main websites, which is no surprise as they are now also hosted by Dutch Public Broadcasting. I don’t know the exact technical set-up, but I have reported it and we’ll see what happens. Thanks for your persistence.
