I took early retirement from RNW at the end of April. Due to the new mandate of RNW effective on 1 January 2013, it will no longer be possible for the organisation to provide coverage of international media news.
The Weblog contains over 15,000 media news items published since October 2003. It will remain online as a searchable archive. To prevent spam, it is no longer possible to add comments, but nearly 14,000 comments already received are still available.
My thanks to everyone who has supported the Weblog since 2003, especially the many colleagues and friends, too numerous to mention individually, who have sent information and posted comments over the years.
Thanks also to the many people who have written to express appreciation for the service we have provided since 2003. It will take a while to get back to you all, but I promise I will reply.
