LJBC goes to court over copyright infringement

The Libyan Jamahiriya Broadcasting Corporation (LJBC) recently sued a Toronto resident named Abdalla Saleh in US District Court for Northern California, alleging copyright infringement. The seven-page lawsuit, filed on 20 August, said Mr Saleh allegedly uploaded six videos to YouTube and one to blip.tv that included “numerous copyrighted works owned by” LJBC.
