Iran has hacked the website of the Persian language, Amsterdam-based Radio Zamaneh, Fars News Agency reported on 31 January. Two unprofitable AM stations close in Montreal

Twitter boss says ‘told’ of China block

Twitter co-founder Evan Williams said today he had been told that his microblogging service has been  partially blocked in China but had no confirmation. “That’s what I’ve been told,” he told AFP, adding that he had “heard reports on that” but that the company did not have direct confirmation.

Vancouver’s AM 650 goes Russian in February

As Vancouver prepares to welcome the world, AM 650 prepares to welcome Russia’s Autoradio to its airwaves. From February 12 to 28, Russia’s leading music station, Autoradio, will be broadcasting live from Vancouver’s “all-time favourites” AM 650.
