Dutch Royal Family tried to meddle with Wikipedia

The Government Information Service has admitted on behalf of members of the Dutch Royal Family, Prince Friso and Princess Mabel, that they attempted to alter information on the princess in the English language version of the Internet encyclopaedia Wikipedia. RTÉ on shortwave for All-Ireland finals on 2 and 16 September

Irish public broadcaster RTÉ will broadcast the GAA All-Ireland Hurling final on Sunday 2 September and the All-Ireland Football final on Sunday 16 September on shortwave to Irish people living abroad. Coverage begins at 1200 UTC. For the second year running, RTÉ will also transmit the finals on DRM to most of Europe.

Cameroon grants four broadcasting licenses

The Cameroonian Government yesterday issued broadcast licences to four private broadcasting companies: Sweet FM, Canal12, Spectrum TV and TV+, according to an official. Canal2 International, Spectrum TV and TV+ (provider of cable TV), were granted television creation and operation licences, while Sweet FM, broadcasting in Douala, received a radio broadcasting licence.
