Interview with Cees Waage, public relations officer of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, after the tour the orchestra made to the United States and Latin America, starting April 21st up to and including May 31st. Interviewer is Guus Feist.
Performances took place a.o. in the cities of New York and Los Angeles and in Mexico and Argentina. Bernard Haitink and Roberto Benzi were the conductors.

From the book ‘Historie en Kroniek van het Concergebouw en het Concertgebouworkest’ (’History and chronicle of the Concertgebouw and the Concertgebouw Orchestra’), part II it appears that the tour to the United States and Latin-America took place between April 21st and June 1st, 1971. At the beginning of the interview Mr. Waage mentions that they returned only a week ago. In other words the recording of the interview has to be made at the beginning of June. However, for any reason whatsoever transmitted not until October.

Uit het boek “Historie en Kroniek van het Concertgebouw en het Concertgebouworkest” deel II blijkt dat de tournee naar de VS en Latijns-Amerika is gehouden tussen 21 april en 1 juni 1971. De heer Waage zegt aan het begin van het interview dat ze pas een week terug zijn. M.a.w. de opname moet begin juni gemaakt zijn, maar is om de één of andere reden pas in oktober uitgezonden?
