A reaction against complexity, is probably the simplest way to describe the first work for today: ‘Set Of Five Pieces For Wind Quintet’ by Otto Ketting, who is 35 this year. The ‘Set Of Five Pieces’ is different from most of its contemporary compositions in its simplicity of form, it uses mainly static tonal blocks, which slowly undergo minor changes
