About the Pilgrim Father’s lifes and the circumstances during their stay in the Low Countries in the early 17th century and their 11 years at Leyden. Michiel Hennus talks to American professor of history Bangs and professor Bachrach, both at Leyden University, giving an insight in the religious organization at the time, and the reasons for their need to flee from England to Amsterdam, where they did not feel at home. One hundred pilgrims moved to Leyden and professor Bachrach explains why there are so little remnants left of te pilgrims at Leyden.
