B137055 Dutch Light Music : 06-12: [Various Artist] / 1960-11-28

A series of 7 programmes for the American market produced by the Transcription Service (Programme Export) and presented by Teddy Scholten. Originally they were taped in november 1960: mostly two programmes on a tape, four with each its own number. On 10-07-1961 they were copied on seven tapes with all the same number B137055.
On the boxes “Replacement for tape …” “Matrix: RN 457-2″, which is the number of the matrix which was used for the production of records. On the form: “Dutch Light Music III”. Why the ordering starts with programme number 6 is not clear.

Around 1960 the administration of the transcription services (programme export) was reorganised . Of the products of the sixties and beginning of the seventies an organised register is available. In that period a fourth (1963) and fifth (1964) series presented by Teddy Scholten were produced. The records may exists but the tapes with Teddy Scholten were erased. Probably this third series servived because it was made before the reorganisation of the administration.
Export of Dutch light music went on. In recent years RN Music and the Europarade (in different languages) are promoting the recent productions.

Each programme is about 13 minutes
